Girls Aloud upset  for X Factor reject  ANANOVA

Girls Aloud have expressed their anger at the treatment of one of their friends at the X Factor auditions.

Nikk Maher was refused a passage through to the boot camp round of the TV talent show after judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh vetoed his progress.

Nikk told the Daily Star: ” Cheryl [Cole] has told me the other judges were ‘bang out of order’ over the way I was treated.”

He added: “And I had a text from Kimberley [Walsh] saying that she was shocked at what happened and that ‘Simon and Louis just ‘had it in for me’ right from the start.”

In 2002, Cheryl and Nikk were both finalists in Popstars: The Rivals, the talent show that preceded X Factor.

While Cheryl made it into Girls Aloud, Nikk failed to break into boyband One True Voice, before joining now-forgotten band Phixx, who split in 2005.

Girls Aloud stunners 

Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle 

are set to battle it out to be 

named FHM’s 

Sexiest Woman in the World.

Geordie WAG Cheryl is the bookies’ favourite to come out top of the list of lovelies, 

despite Londonderry lass Nadine being reportedly ahead of her in the online poll.

Voting has closed and bookmakers Betfair and Paddy Power are tipping X Factor judge Cheryl to steal the crown from last year’s winner Megan Fox, 

with respective odds of 4-9 and 4-6.

Bangor presenter Zoe Salmon also looks like she could make it onto the list, 

following her sexy photoshoot with FHM for their May edition.

Paddy Power is offering odds of 14-1 on the Dancing On Ice star and odds of 18-1 on Nadine Coyle.

According to Betfair, 

Cheryl Cole’s closest challenges are coming from across the pond in the form of 

Megan Fox,

Eva Longoria, 

.

Scarlett Johansson, and 

.

Jessica Alba.

Girls Aloud singer 

Nadine Coyle has 

invested her way to 

a massive fortune with 

reports claiming she is 

now worth over £6.7m.

The Londonderry star’s band 

currently has an estimated value 

of £34m, 

making it one of the 

richest acts in the UK.

Nadine, 

who owns a flat worth £350,000 

in north London, 

last year skipped the province 

for pastures new in America. 

To date, 

the 25-year-old singer is reported 

to have built up a fortune amounting 

to £6.7m, 

making her the second richest 

member of Britain’s most 

successful girl band ever.

The tidy sum is the result of a series of wise investments, 

including a number of Irish pubs and at least one Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, 

where she now lives.

She has also reportedly entered the hotel market, 

buying run-down LA lodgings for £1m, 

which she aims to convert into a boutique hotel and exclusive celebrity hang-out, 

bringing her property portfolio to £1.9m.

.

           

It is understood that the Ulster beauty also has ambitions to open a chain of candle stores in the future.

Girls Aloud are now one of the richest bands in the UK, 

together thought to be worth a staggering £34m. 

Nadine’s individual collateral is, 

however, eclipsed by fellow

band member Cheryl Cole, 

who has amassed a major £10m.

The girl group –— 

comprising Nadine, 

Cheryl, Sarah Harding, 

Nicola Roberts 

and Kimberly Walsh — 

have a whole string of 

advertising deals under

 their belts.

Since they were brought together on ITV’s 

Popstars: The Rivals, 

they have each made an estimated £3m from music sales alone, as well as £1.8m each from group endorsements.
